May 24

Our Lost and Found bins are over flowing! When you have a moment, please sort through the Lost & Found items and take what belongs to your child(ren). At end of day Monday, May 29th, items except for uniform pieces, will be donated to a local charity.

The Maples Academy is hosting the annual inner school Track and Field meet on Friday, May 26. The top students who participated in the events on our Track and Field day and received medals have been given permission forms. 

-Students are asked to be at the school around 7:45 am, bring hat, water, sunscreen and dress gym uniform according to weather.

Arts Night -

- Please allow time to practice at home!
- Our outfit for that night is a plain black t-shirt, jeans, a backwards baseball cap and running shoes!

Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.

UOI with language focus- today we read chapter 5 of our Flat Stanley novel study, we then practiced summarizing the important parts in our chapter retell.

Math- today we completed our unit test for 2D Shapes, Time to the half hour and symmetry. 

UOI - we completed a booklet about different habitats
